This downlight has been manufactured to fit the 92mm hole which exists in most Australian homes.Remove the old halogen and there is no need to recut the hole in probably 98% of cases.These downlights produce more light than halogens – about 1 1/2 times and use the same 60 degree beam angle.

Above is a photo of a kitchen bench lit by a halogen on the left and this LED downlight on the right (end of benchtop). You can actually see what you are doing when preparing meals, reading mail etc. It is an amazing light which people have bought for their office, dining room, places to read by, etc. It makes such a difference to ‘seeing’.

It is advisable to purchase an accredited driver to achieve the full life span of your light at maximum brightness.It is also important for insurance purposes to have SAA approval for the driver.Our drivers have SAA approval.

This LED light uses 18W, while halogen lights use 50+W. You should be able to use less of these downlights than halogens and have a better colour rendition and very little heat.

    Warning: Do not connect the light to the driver while the driver is energised as this will fuse the light and void any warranty.These drivers are current transformers and the secondary output voltage increases dramatically if it is open circuited while there is power to the driver.
